Sample up to 6 spirits and take a traditional Bulgarian ceramic brandy (rakia) glass. These glasses were custom-made for us in Bulgaria by the great-great-grandson of the renowned Bulgarian architect Kolyu Ficheto.

Born in 1800 in Dryanovo—then part of the Ottoman Empire—Ficheto was trained in craftsmanship in Tryavna, where he mastered stonecutting and became an expert in building churches, bell towers, and bridges. Fluent in Turkish, Greek, and Romanian, he achieved the status of Master Craftsman by the age of 36.

His lasting legacy includes iconic works such as The House with the Monkey, the bridge over the Yantra River, and the Church of the Holy Trinity, among many others. We are honored to have formed a connection with the family of this celebrated figure of the Bulgarian National Revival.
