Scuppernong Brandy (Rakia) – Small-Batch Craft Spirit
Crafted in small batches at our distillery in Monroe, using an ancient Bulgarian recipe and native NC grapes. This Scuppernong Brandy we dedicate to the state that became our home away from home - North Carolina. We rest this spirit in new American oak charred bourbon barrels for fewer months to preserve more of the original scuppernong flavor while keeping it balanced with fewer charred oak notes.
No artificial flavors or additives - just fruit, time, and traditional distillation.

Khan Malamir
A very famous ruler of the First Bulgarian Empire during a period of significant territorial expansion and consolidation of power. He is often remembered for his military campaigns and for continuing the policies of his predecessors to strengthen Bulgaria’s position in the Balkans. One of his notable achievements was the capture of Philippopolis (modern-day Plovdiv) and several Byzantine fortresses in the region. This solidified Bulgaria’s control over parts of Thrace and enhanced the empire’s territorial reach. He was the last pagan ruler of the Dulo dynasty. While Khan Malamir's reign was brief, it was impactful in terms of both military conquest and political stability. His role in extending Bulgaria's influence in the Balkans helped lay the groundwork for the empire's continued growth in the 9th century.
